We all have our own life story. Our own beautiful journey to fully live and travel upon.
Some feel willing to share their story itself, which in turn can help others not feel so alone.
Some feel called to impart the treasures they've acquired in wisdom, so others can guide their own lives in a more purposeful and intentional way.
Some feel compelled to teach their lessons learned so others don't have to tread such hardships in their own journey of life.
Some keep their stories to themselves and yet operate in a silent character that speaks their wisdom and experience, benefiting those around them in this solid, quiet manner.
We all need one another in this way. We all have something of value to contribute to one another's lives, and even more so, when we truly live our own lives to have a genuine understanding with others along our own journey.
By sharing the truth of our stories, we give others opportunities to grow alongside us as we travel along our own journey, and they in theirs.
We won't all have the same lessons, or way of experiencing those lessons that may end up resulting in the exact same lessons learned. Perhaps we may not even be at the same stage of growth to have the depth of understanding to value what a person imparts at that moment.
But when we honor the stories of others, and especially of those courageous enough to share those hard, scary stories they kept inside for so long, we thus honor ourselves in being open to receive what their story can teach us or expand our horizons as we continue along our own journey.
We honor the stories of others by being willing to listen without judgment, to humble ourselves to learn from their story, and valuing what they have to impart.
May you honor the stories of another, so you thus are honored in the story of your journey.
With LOVE. Always,
