How we style ourselves represents the first layer of who we are, like the jacket to the story behind our book cover.

I believe that when you style yourself to look your best, it lends to your sense of self-confidence as you tend to feel your best and perform better in your ideal life. Styling helped me to embrace my body as it was divinely created, without any icky fake fillers or scary cosmetic surgery - rather, focusing on what I could change by enhancing natural beauty. I feel the key to dressing your best is knowing your own physical makeup and then styling according to your body type, having a tailored fit in all the right places that lends to that polished look.

Once you've figured out your sense of style that fits you, own it girl — wear it like you mean it — for I believe that the best accessory is the glow of your feelin' good-confidence flaunting that outfit.

THE TWIGGY MOTHER STYLIST

Although I try to stay in the know with the latest fashion trends, I don't consider myself a trend follower. If I like a piece of clothing in its individual state, I see that piece as a building block to an outfit curated of all things I fell in love with.

 

I style my look by mixing the timeless old with new finds, sleek silhouettes paired with all the feels of texture, and romantic pieces with edgy accents; contrasts that are an effortless mix between my inner dreaming New York City street fashionista meets European chic. I love leopard or snakeskin print accents treated as a neutral and the subtle sparkle of metallic accessories to finish off my look, giving it just enough bold without speaking too loud. Especially now as a mother, I style myself on a basis of comfort and functionality, choosing genuine suede and leather to wrap my feet as such materials tend to conform and stretch to accommodate the shape of my foot as I walk, and are more long lasting, as I tend to wear the life out of each shoe I j'adore.

 

I love the luxurious feel and texture of silk and chiffon, but my casual wear usually consists of natural, earthy cottons and linens and cozy plush knitted sweaters with my warm mug in hand. Just with every other aspect of my life, I want the real deal...

quality that lasts and holds up to endless use from being so loved.
