It can be daunting to look ahead and travel down the beaten path that you must pave for yourself, one step at a time. The more you continue forward, you will become acquainted with your path to be able to maneuver skillfully to get to where you know you are meant to be.
A walk down the beaten dirt path. It's okay if you get a bit dirty along the way, for if you look up, soon enough you will see all the beauty that surrounds and awaits you.
Challenges are opportunities to learn and grow, to become self-aware, to then become better.
Challenges are ultimately for growth. What is hard for us is because have yet to acquire the tools to successfully and easily overcome them. Or it can simply serve as another opportunity to apply the tools you did acquire to continually develop them through exercise.
Challenges are to refine us to choose and do the right thing.
Challenges are to have us make those mistakes that we will learn from in the embarrassment and feelings of shame.
Challenges are to help us reach our potential, pushing us to our limits within that stage of growth until it becomes our new way of being - our inner transformation.
THE GROWTH
I used to fear challenges. My thought process would be to run from them and when I still found myself in those very challenges that I tried to escape, I would pitifully ask "Why? Why again? and please let this hurry up and pass." And as much as I dreaded the challenge, the only way out of it was applying myself, my solutions to get out and over it.
Be guided by your character to act in integrity, to solve your challenges honorably, and let love be your grace in soothing over your challenging experiences.
Then the beautiful purpose would unfold. Growth.
I could look back at the challenge that helped me grow. To look back because I had moved forward. To look back at a path because I paved it with each step I took.
May we all see our challenges as necessary refinement for our growth and development. Approaching our challenges with the curiosity of what we are to learn from them and then applying ourselves to see our way out and over it, and onto the next challenge.
Yes, you are specifically made for your set of challenges, and will get right over it in time.
Face that wind blowing in and eye it with a determined, "Come on, bring it. I was made for it."
With LOVE. Always,
